THE 4-HOUR WORK WEEK, A BOOK THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
The 4-Hour Workweek is somewhat of an autobiography of Tim Ferriss, as he reveals his life as an entrepreneur he tells you how to build an automated business that works for you, a.k.a. "a muse." Tim Ferriss has done it and he outlines the steps that he took in order to do that. This book is full of useful information that is highly actionable.
4-HOUR WORK WEEK, DOES IT WORK?
The 4-Hour Work Week was written for the novice in mind and is therefore easy to follow even if you don't have a clue what entrepreneur means. It gives you clear cut information and details sources that you could use.
Some of the resources might become obsolete with time, but the principles of The 4-Hour Work Week are timeless principles. Especially in the internet age.
Tim Ferriss makes it look easy to become an entrepreneur. This is a highly motivating book for the business noob and for those who are bogged down by their day job. Tim really understands how it feels to slave away in front of a desk in a thankless corporate job. He understands the insanity of which and makes fun of it while giving you the solutions.
Not only is this book actionable but also entertaining. Tim Ferriss never ceases to amuse with every page! The quotes at the beginning of each chapter which Tim included is thought provoking and gets the ball rolling as you read through the chapters. There is no dull moment in this book. I ate this book word per word. It set me on the path of entrepreneurship and helped me build my muse. It works, in case you're wondering but with a caveat...
THE 4-HOUR WORK WEEK: THE CAVEAT
Though the Tim Ferriss might make it sound as if it's easy to build an "automated" online, this is far from reality. It requires a lot of work to build an online business... any business for that matter! A 4-hour business ala Tim Ferriss is no different. Maybe it's just me, but it took me several tries before I found my business niche. I worked day and night and the weekends to get my muse going. Till today I continue to work.
If you don't want to work, then this book is not for you. But what I say is: working for yourself is better and much preferable than working for a boss. If you don't build your dreams, you'll end up building your boss' dreams. So, buy this book now and start working!
